Our Farming & Sourcing
Rooted in agriculture. Built around responsible sourcing.
Where quality begins
At AMRITLEAF, we believe that the quality of a natural product begins with the quality and care given to its raw materials.
Our product range includes agricultural and plant-based ingredients such as moringa, turmeric, herbs, spices and other natural products. Depending on the product, these materials may come from AMRITLEAF's own cultivation, independent farmers, agricultural producers or selected suppliers.
We believe in being clear about that distinction rather than suggesting that every product is grown on our own farms.
From farm to product
Our approach connects agriculture with careful sourcing and processing:
Cultivation & Farming → Harvesting → Sourcing → Sorting & Handling → Processing → Quality Checks → Packaging
The exact journey varies by product and sourcing model.
Where AMRITLEAF cultivates or processes a product ourselves, we aim to communicate that clearly. When raw materials are purchased from farmers or suppliers, we identify them as sourced materials.
This distinction helps customers understand the actual journey of the product they are purchasing.
Our own cultivation
AMRITLEAF is developing its own agricultural activities as part of its long-term vision.
Our focus includes exploring responsible cultivation of suitable crops and plant-based ingredients while learning and improving our farming practices over time.
Where a product is produced from AMRITLEAF-grown agricultural material, the relevant product information will identify this where appropriate.
We do not use our own-farm story as a blanket claim for products that are sourced elsewhere.
Working with farmers & suppliers
Agriculture is much bigger than any single farm.
As our product range grows, we expect to work with farmers, agricultural producers and suppliers who can provide suitable raw materials.
When evaluating sourcing opportunities, we aim to consider factors such as:
- Origin and source of the material
- Harvest and handling practices
- Raw material condition and quality
- Storage and transportation practices
- Supplier information and documentation
- Consistency of supply
- Applicable food-safety requirements
- Responsible agricultural practices where information is available
Our supplier relationships will develop over time, and we intend to build longer-term partnerships where there is a good fit in terms of quality, reliability and responsible sourcing.
Responsible farming
We want our agricultural journey to move toward practices that are responsible, resource-conscious and appropriate for the local environment.
Our areas of interest include:
Soil health
Encouraging practices that support healthy and productive soil over the long term.
Responsible inputs
Using agricultural inputs thoughtfully and according to the requirements of the crop and applicable farming practices.
Water awareness
Promoting efficient and responsible use of water wherever practical.
Biodiversity
Recognising the importance of healthy agricultural ecosystems and diverse plant life.
Sustainable practices
Continuously learning about farming methods that can balance productivity, resource conservation and long-term soil health.
These are goals and practices we are developing—not blanket claims that every AMRITLEAF-sourced product is organically or sustainably cultivated.
Transparency in sourcing
We believe customers should be able to distinguish between what we know, what we do and what we are still building.
We therefore avoid making unsupported claims such as:
- “All products are grown on our farms”
- “All products are directly from farmers”
- “100% organic” without applicable certification
- “Chemical-free” without appropriate substantiation
- “Sustainably sourced” where the sourcing basis cannot be supported
Instead, we aim to provide product-specific information whenever reliable information is available.
Building a responsible supply chain
Our long-term objective is to develop a supply network that creates value across the agricultural journey—from farmers and producers to processors and customers.
As AMRITLEAF grows, we intend to improve:
Source Identification → Supplier Documentation → Quality Checks → Batch Traceability → Processing Controls → Customer Transparency
Where practical, we will progressively introduce stronger systems for documenting the origin and movement of raw materials.
Origin & product information
The source of a raw material can vary between products and batches.
Therefore, specific information such as farm or growing location, farmer or supplier, harvest period, batch information, processing location and sourcing model will only be published when it is accurate, relevant and appropriate to disclose.
We will not invent farm stories or publish specific supplier relationships simply for marketing purposes.
Growing from the ground up
AMRITLEAF is building its agricultural and sourcing ecosystem step by step.
Today, our journey may involve a combination of our own cultivation and carefully sourced agricultural materials. As we grow, we aim to increase our understanding of the supply chain, strengthen farmer relationships and develop better systems for responsible sourcing and traceability.
From our fields, from trusted farmers, and from responsible sources — toward products you can understand and trust.
